This is a collection of some of my modeling and texturing work done thus far for my senior game project: Grape Juice City! All textures shown here were procedurally generated in Substance Designer and applied in Substance Painter, each making use of exposed parameters to adjust components live using Unity's Substance3D plugin- from bubbles in a grape pattern, to cracks and edge wear in brick tiles! Inspired by Spanish Colonial architecture, 70's Psychedelic graphic design, and Bossa Nova music, My goal with these textures was to thoroughly reinforce the color palette and funky visual aesthetic, while also providing each team with a distinct visual identity to get players further invested in the fruit they're using to paint the town! I was super proud of how this game turned out- and we won the best gameplay and audience favorite at our debut at Stout Game Expo!
In Grape Juice City, 2-4 players will compete as various tropical bird people, representing four different fruit juice " the day is over in order to rename the city in their honor! This cartoony, couch competitive game is available for free on steam now!!!
